These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GuildSeal, operated by GuildSeal Inc. ("GuildSeal," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use GuildSeal.
GuildSeal provides a job verification platform that allows independent contractors to create job records, collect digital client approvals, upload completion documentation, and anchor cryptographic proof of those approvals to the Polygon blockchain.
GuildSeal is a documentation and record-keeping tool. We do not guarantee any legal outcome from the use of our records. While our records are designed to be defensible and tamper-evident, their admissibility and weight in any legal proceeding is subject to the laws of the applicable jurisdiction.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at hello@guildseal.com.
You may not use GuildSeal to create false records, misrepresent the scope of completed work, or collect client approvals through deception or coercion. Doing so may result in immediate account termination and may expose you to legal liability.

When you provide a client's phone number and send them a verification link or notification via GuildSeal, you represent that you have the client's consent to contact them via SMS in connection with the job. You are responsible for complying with applicable telecommunications laws, including the TCPA.
Client sign-off data collected through GuildSeal is associated with your account. Verification links are publicly accessible to anyone with the link URL. You are responsible for sharing verification links appropriately.
When a job record is finalized, GuildSeal writes a cryptographic hash to the Polygon public blockchain. You acknowledge that:
GuildSeal offers a Free tier (3 lifetime jobs, no credit card required) and paid tiers (Pro at $49/month or $399/year; Shield at $169/month or $1,499/year). Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
All payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize GuildSeal to charge your payment method for the applicable subscription fees. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
GuildSeal and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by GuildSeal Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you submit to GuildSeal (job records, photos, scope documents). By submitting content, you grant GuildSeal a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
GuildSeal is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that GuildSeal will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We do not warrant that records created on GuildSeal will be admissible in any legal proceeding or will achieve any particular legal outcome.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GuildSeal Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of business, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of GuildSeal shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings or by emailing hello@guildseal.com. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if we determine you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use GuildSeal ceases immediately. Blockchain records created prior to termination remain on the public blockchain permanently.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of GuildSeal shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of GuildSeal after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
